Pastor James Ko
James Ko is the pastor of Valley Bible Church of Merced since April of 2023. James was born in Seoul, South Korea. His parents brought him to the United States at a very young age and has predominantly lived in Southern California. He attended the University of California, Merced from 2010 to 2012 and it was during this time that he came to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. After graduating from UC Merced in 2012, he applied and was accepted into The Master’s Seminary in 2013. In 2017, he graduated from The Master’s Seminary with a Master’s Degree in Divinity (M.Div.). He and his wife Kylie have two sons (Greyson and Harrison).
